So much has changed at Bergen, but what hasn’t changed is the total commitment to students. I can always feel confident that my support will impact students.
More than 50 years ago, I was fortunate to be one of the original faculty members that started Bergen. Much has changed, but one thing has stayed constant. No matter what role I had – first as a counselor, then as an administrator – I could see the impact that we had on students. Every year we were changing lives. Sometimes it was helping someone to find the right path. Sometimes it was helping someone through personal challenges. Sometimes it was helping with academic issues. Sometimes it was just watching a spark take hold.
Every year the college makes a difference, and affects thousands of people.
