Every day, students visit the Foundation requesting help to pay for textbooks, transportation, and other educational expenses beyond their tuition and fees. Without such support, these expenses become obstacles blocking their path.
The Bergen Cares Center is designed to support students, staff and faculty with emergency services such as food, clothing, rent and utilities. With the Foundation’s support, the Center now offers a pathway for students to access emergency funds for bus passes, books, technology, and other education-related expenses.
