Michael Redmond has been an esteemed professor of Religion and Philosophy, and an admired administrator through his career at Bergen. At the end of his career, he was appointed President of the College, and helped to steer it into an era of growth and stability.
In honor of his retirement, this fund was created by his friends and colleagues. He asked that it be used to fund an ongoing series of visits to the campus by acclaimed philosophers to speak on topics approved by the department chair. The goal is to expose students and the community to insights and new ways of looking at the world.
