This Memorial Tutoring Award was established in honor of Professor David Scalcione. David was a long-time faculty member in the Mathematics Department, admired equally by students and other faculty members. He was always willing to get involved with activities within the department.
He spent an extraordinary amount of his own time working in the Bergen Community College Tutoring Center, helping students in any way that he could. He was equally generous with his time to students from other classes, helping any student who asked for help.
