Giving Societies through the BCC Foundation
Support from our donors is essential to both the immediate future and the long-term vitality of Bergen Community College and the thousands of students we serve each year. The giving societies of the Bergen Community College Foundation recognize donors who invest in our students and support our community, both through annual contributions and lifetime giving. The Bergen Community College Foundation publishes a Roll of Donors, along with these giving societies, in its Impact Report and on its website. Donors may opt out of having their names listed.
Lifetime Giving Societies
Lifetime Giving Societies recognize the cumulative gifts made by donors to Bergen Community College. These societies encourage donors to increase their level of support over the years. The BCC Foundation is deeply appreciative of the role these donors have played in the founding, growth, and ongoing success of the College.
- The Founder’s Society: $750,000 and above
- The Trustee’s Society: $500,000 to $749,999
- The Chairman’s Society: $250,000 to $499,999
- The President’s Society: $100,000 to $249,999
Unless otherwise specified, donors will be prominently recognized in the Foundation’s Impact Report, the Bergen Community College Annual Report, on a commemorative plaque in the Foundation office, and on the Foundation website. New inductees will be recognized at the Foundation’s annual Scholarship Gala.
Annual Giving Circles
Annual Giving Circles recognize donors who support the BCC Foundation each year. These loyal supporters of Bergen Community College renew their commitment annually by making restricted or unrestricted gifts through the Annual Campaign for BCC during the college’s fiscal year (July 1 to June 30).
- Founders Circle: $50,000 to $99,999
- Trustees Circle: $25,000 to $49,999
- Chairman’s Circle: $10,000 to $24,999
- President’s Circle: $5,000 to $9,999
- Leadership Circle: $1,000 to $4,999
- Associates of BCC: $250 to $999
- Friends of BCC: $100 to $249
- Supporters of BCC: $1 to $99
The commitment of these donors is recognized in the Foundation’s Impact Report, the BCC Annual Report, and on the Foundation website.
Heritage Society
The Heritage Society recognizes individuals who have made deeply personal commitments to Bergen Community College through planned gifts. Members of the Heritage Society and their heirs will be remembered by future generations of BCC students, alumni, faculty, and staff. Heritage gifts help build lasting financial support for BCC student scholarships, academic programs, and capital initiatives.
